Some FAQs...

Who are your writers?

Our writers, and proofreaders, have various engineering qualifications and hands-on industry experience across different sectors. They combine their love for writing with their engineering know-how to create amazing content. Our team works remotely from various locations.

What payment forms do you expect ?

We accept Card Payments and PayPal via our order page. You can find out more about our product pricing here.

Do you require upfront payment ?

Yes. Writing an engineering or technical white paper requires substantial commitment, planning, time and resources. We only schedule a white paper project after an initial payment is received.

What format do we receive work ?

Google Docs. We will send you a link to the doc that includes the first draft for your review.

What if, we are not happy with the first draft ?

Google Docs. We will send you a link to the doc that includes the first draft for your review.

Is there a time limit for revision ?

Yes. We require any revision requests within 5 working days of submission, otherwise content is considered approved.

How do we require specific revision ?

Simply use the ‘suggesting’ option in Google Docs (see here) to mark up the document with your comments or suggestions. Let us know when you’re done, and we’ll take a look.

How can you write for my audience ?

We have experience writing engineering white papers for many sectors in the industry. Before writing a white paper, we carry out in-depth research of your products and services so we can fully understand your target audience. We will match the style and tone of your business, and produce an initial white paper scope for your approval before proceeding with the core writing.

Who owns the content ?

You do. Once all payments are received and final work approved, you own the content.

How much input you need from me or my team ?

Writing a white paper requires an initial discussion around your brief, and what you want to achieve. That will help us decide if we need to carry out an in-depth interview with you, a subject matter expert in your engineering firm, or one of your customers. After that, we’ll require input for our initial white paper scope, and then of course you will need to set time aside to review final submitted work.

Do you provide graphics ?

No. Our expertise and focus is engineering content writing only. We do not have the resources or skills in-house to produce graphics.

How long do revisions take ?

That depends on the extent of revision requests and our capacity at the time. We prioritise minor revisions as soon as possible. For larger white paper projects requiring multiple revisions, we aim to start within 48 hrs and will communicate a timeline with you.
